This concept is a new approach of draghead for TSHD's. The project specifications for dredging works with TSHD tend to become more difficult and limits have to be pushed continuously. With the existing conventional concept of a draghead, a lot of innovation is possible as can be seen on this page.

 

But to make a leap in performance of the dragheads, a concept is in progress that will open the door for a lot of new tools in dragheads that will increase the employability of a TSHD on difficult dredging projects.
